Post - Care
Congratulations on your new brows!
Please read the Post-Care instructions carefully and in their entirety.
Your Post-care is imperative to maintaining lasting results. It is up to you to make sure your brows last! Remember, our skin is a living organ that needs nourishment and proper care.
If you have any questions regarding Post-Care please contact the studio.
Follow these steps to maintain the best retention and results.
Immediately after leaving the studio:
Your brows will feel tender and look darker than anticipated. There may be some stinging, swelling, slight burning or itching- this is normal and will take a few hours to settle.
Make sure your hands, glasses, and anything possibly touching your face are wiped clean of bacteria.
Do not touch your beautiful new brows!
It is essential that you resist the urge to touch or scratch the treated area. If itching does occur, gently tap or slap the source, but DO NOT scratch, pick or rub the area.
Using only the products in your Post-Care Kit, gently wipe the lymph/plasma from your brows every 2-3 hours.
(Apply no pressure when wiping. Simply glide along the surface to remove any clear fluid. Pressure will result in pigment loss.)
Using a rice sized amount of the Inked Balm, take a Q-tip to gently apply a tiny, thin layer. Again, use no pressure, simply glide.
(Do not over-lubricate or rub in the balm)
Remember, any pressure may result in pigment loss. The strokes are fragile and near surface level, keeping the pigment present is vital for lasting results.
NO scrubbing, NO abrasive cloths and ONLY use the wipes provided in your Post-Care Kit.
Repeat these steps every 2-3 hours.
Repeat instructions from Day 1, every 4-5 hours.
Repeat instructions from Day 1, twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening.
Your Post-Care schedule is over, but your brows are still healing. Continue to treat your brows as a wound (no bacteria, touching, make-up, etc.). No water on the brows for 14 days.
After Day 4 clients may resume exercise and sweating. If heavy sweating occurs, use the After-Care wipes to gently pat clean. Any wiping will still aggravate the brows during this stage of the healing process.
